Important - our postcode will get you to Craswall, but you will be approximately 2 miles east of the campsite, so please follow the directions below.

From Hay on Wye - about 6.5 miles

​

Follow Forest Road signposted to Capel-y-ffin.

After 2 miles bare left at the fork in the road towards Craswall.

After 4.5 miles turn right into the campsite field.

 

From Longtown - about 6.5 miles

​

Follow the road to Craswall - after 6 miles you will get to the Bulls Head pub. Turn right here and follow the road,which will take you past the Church on your right, and after a further ¼ mile turn left into the campsite field.

From Michaelchurch Escley - about 4 miles

​

Take the road to Craswall, turn right at the T junction (by the bus stop) and after 2 miles you will get to the Bulls Head pub. Turn right here and follow the road,which will take you past the Church on your right, and after a further ¼ mile turn left into the campsite field.

 

FAQ's


Q: What are the arrival and departure times ?
A: You can arrive any time from 1pm. Please depart by 11am.

Q: Can I bring a tiny caravan ?
Tiny caravans are suitable but anything bigger will be tricky to manoeuvre through our gateways and on the narrow roads in the area.

Q: Can I bring a motorhome?
A: Unfortunately motorhomes are too big to access our site and too heavy for the fields. We do not have any hard standing.

Q: Do you have electricity hook up points by the camping pitches?
A: Sorry, no we don't. There are sockets for charging phones etc though in the washing up room.
 
Q: Do you have a chemical disposal point?
A: No we don't. Portable or chemical loos should not be brought as the contents will need to be disposed of away from the campsite.

Q: Can I bring my pet ?
Sorry, we don't allow any pets. This is so that we can keep our fields clean for our animals which graze the campsite outside the camping season.

Q: Can I book the whole site for a celebration ?
A: Yes. You can book the whole campsite for celebrations. Just call us or send an e-mail with an outline of your plan and we can discuss your requirements.

Q: Can you provide food for groups and celebrations?
A: Yes. We have some exciting food options using our own farm produce, which we can discuss with you.
